The Board of Selectmen and School Committee meeting rooms look a lot different this fall! And so does the broadcast quality of each meeting on WayCAM—The Wayland Channels. Over the summer, digital cameras were installed in the Town Building.  Watch meetings live (Check listings on WayCAM.tv for times)! The visual quality has improved exponentially as new technology has made its way into WayCAM. It came at a perfect time, too—The Board of Selectmen meeting room was just repainted and has a brand new carpet, chairs and table!  In the Board of Selectmen meeting room, a second camera was also added. One shot will focus on the board members, and the other will allow viewers at home to see PowerPoint presentations given at the meetings.  These improvements come as WayCAM is making its way into the future of TV production with a new studio facility to be finished by January of 2012.
