Wayland Town Crier 10/19/11: Spread the Bread celebrates its 10th anniversary. Spread the Bread will celebrate its 10th anniversary with another community-wide bread-giving campaign to honor our heroes and help those in need on Saturday, Oct. 22, national “Make a Difference Day.” Breads, any kind of baked bread or sandwich bread, should be securely wrapped and tied with notes of hope, inspiration and gratitude. This year, we ask that each bread also be tied with a coral ribbon honoring the giving spirit of Lauren Astley. Breads can be dropped off at specified locations around town on that day and the week leading up to that day. Locations will be posted on their website.
