MWRTA/MBTA Charlie Cards

Applications processed at Wayland COA, Thursday, Oct. 20.  On Thursday, October 20, representatives from the MWRTA (Metrowest Regional Transit Authority) will be at the Wayland COA to issue Charlie Cards (Transportation Access Pass) to qualifying seniors (anyone 65 years of age or older or to applicants  under 65 with a qualifying disability. Anyone 65 or older will need a form of ID to verify age; persons under 65 with a disability will need a Medicare card or a completed form from their health care provider.  Applications will be processed from 1:15-3pm in the Wayland COA at the Wayland Town Building. Applications for the TAP Charlie Cards are available at the COA.  

There will also be an opportunity to learn more about the FIXED ROUTE BUS SYSTEM that now stops in south Wayland.  This bus provides regularly scheduled stops through Framingham and Natick.  It is an inexpensive and convenient form of transportation for people of all ages. Overview of the Fixed Route Bus ..where it goes, how it works, etc. will begin at 1pm at the Wayland COA.   For additional information, call the MWRTA at 508-935-2222 or the Wayland COA at 508-358-2990 with any questions.
