Lincoln Masonic Lodge Open House, Saturday October 15

Joseph Warren-Soley Lodge of Free & Accepted Masons is hosting an open house from 9am-3pm on Saturday October 15. Please join us at our Lodge in Lincoln at 181 Lincoln Road for conversation and a tour.  You will get an understanding of what Masonry is about and discover if there is greatness in you.

Have you wondered why great Americans such as Paul Revere, John Hancock, Ben Franklin, Davey Crockett, Gen. Douglas MacArthur, Massachusetts Gov. Leverett Saltonstall, Justice Thurgood Marshall and Presidents George Washington, Andrew Jackson, Franklin Roosevelt, Gerald Ford and 10 other Presidents were Freemasons?

The Joseph Warren-Soley Lodge was established in 1856.  Our Lodge has over 100 active members from all walks of life engaged in their communities and assisting in a number of worthy Masonic and non-Masonic charities.

Freemasonry is the world's oldest and largest fraternity. To be considered for membership you must be a man at least 18 years old, of excellent character and believe in a Supreme Being. Being a Freemason entitles one to a range of opportunities through the Lodge, be it charitable community service, fellowship, education, self-improvement, leadership development and lots of fun.

The Grand Lodge of Massachusetts is the third oldest Grand Lodge in the world, established in 1733. Freemasons donate more than $3 million each day to charitable projects. Many of them are well-known such as the 22 Shriner Hospitals for Children, among them are the Boston burn center and Springfield's orthopedic center. Fifty-five Masonic Learning Centers in 15 states help children with dyslexia and disorders of speech and hearing. The Masonic Youth Child Identification Program (MYCHIP) and the Masonic Angel Foundation assist children and adults in our local communities.

Masons are responsible for about 80% of the blood donated to the Red Cross in Massachusetts. For more information visit www.massfreemasonry.org or our Lodge website .
