Transition Wayland invites you to Apple Picking, yes, here in Wayland!  Sunday October 9th, at 2pm.  Take a short hike, pick apples and learn about Orchard Care at the Heard Farm Orchard Restoration Project. Bill Green, who planted and maintains the trees, will tell us about the project and answer questions. Bring a bag for apples!  Meet at the Heard Street Parking Lot off Pelham Island Rd.
