Wayland Patch 8/30/11: Wayland Offers Free Drop-Off of Storm Related Brush. Wayland’s Department of Public Works has announced that storm debris can be dropped off, free of charge, at the Wayland Transfer Station. Don Ouellette, DPW director, said residents can bring branches, twigs, trees, brush, etc., to the Wayland Transfer Station during its typical open days this week. There will be no charge for yard debris. The station will be open Tuesday 7am-4pm, Thursday 8am-4pm, and Saturday 8am-4pm.
