Wayland Town Crier 8/21/11: Former Wellhead Protection Committee earns certificate. The former Wellhead Protection Committee, a member of the Environmental Protection Agency’s WaterSense program, recently received a Certificate of Appreciation for support of the program. The goal of WaterSense is to help protect the future of our nation’s water supply by promoting water efficiency and enhancing the market for water-efficient products, programs and practices. The EPA recognized the Wellhead Protection Committee for practicing and promoting water efficiency and helping to protect this precious resource for future generations.
