Sudbury 191 lost the state championship game 4-0 to Norwood at Champion’s field in Acushnet MA They are 19-4 right now, and they play in the Northeast regional tournament next weekend.

Michael had a good tournament, especially at the plate hitting 3rd. He hit .440 and his OBP was around .750. He pitched 2 1/3 innings of strong relief, giving up one hit and zero runs.

Our JF League teams all had strong seasons playing against stronger and older teams. The Minor league black team had a winning season and played a strong playoff game losing a close game 7-6 in six innings. Wayland Orange Major turned it on in the playoffs having a strong win in game one then losing a tough game to a strong Weston Angels team.
