Career Hiatus? Time to Return! Find your way back to professional success! Have you taken a hiatus from a professional career and are now contemplating a return? How does one begin that process? Your priorities may have changed, and you might feel uncertain about where you fit in the world you left. Returning to a professional world doesn’t have to be a daunting process. According to USA Today, women are on the verge of outnumbering men in the workplace. For the first time, they comprise close to 50% of the total labor force. Now more then ever, women are looking to relaunch their careers! Wayland resident, Joan Shulman, Co-founder and President of A Hire Calling, Inc. has teamed with Debbie Hunt of Scituate, Founder of Career-Creations, to create WCRP – the Women’s Career Rebuilder Program. This program is designed to assist women who want to transition back into a career or begin a new one. It is a unique and integrated 9 week program which combines group workshops and individual career coaching sessions, followed by a professional internship opportunity. Please join us for a complimentary program overview and details to be presented at the Newton Community Service Center on Wednesdays, August 10th and 17th at 7:00 pm. The Fall program will run from October 4 – December 8th, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon at Mt. Ida College in Newton and attendance will be limited to 16 participants.
