WHDH 7/13/11: Wayland parents hold meeting after teen’s murder. The town of Wayland is working to move forward after a teenager was allegedly murdered by her ex-boyfriend. Parents came together on Tuesday night to help find ways for their children to cope following the killing. There is no clear protocol for parents to help their children cope with the murder of a friend allegedly at the hands of another friend. The parents gathered at Wayland Middle School with questions and looked for guidance.
