Wayland Patch 7/8/11: Investigators Search for Astley Murder Evidence Along Route 27, Other Locations. Investigators from the Wayland Police Department as well as the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council’s Rapid Response Team will be highly present in town today as they perform a routine search for evidence. Wayland Police Chief Robert Irving said the teams are working to make sure they haven’t missed any evidence.
