Wayland Town Crier 6/12/11: First Parish Church in Wayland offers ‘Children at Weddings’. Over a 20-year career as an event photographer, Carol MacGregor of Wayland says many of her favorite images have involved children at weddings. First Parish Church in Wayland is showcasing a collection of her photographs this summer in an exhibit titled “Children at Weddings.”

MacGregor says, “In each, I tried to capture the magical mayhem I’ve seen whenever kids, who are 3 feet shorter than the rest of us, are asked to do something very grown-up. Most children rise to the occasion, but some balk, some cry, some run off… and it’s all OK. Anything can happen, and it usually does.”

MacGregor recently moved into the Saxonville Studios on Concord Street in Framingham, and is available by appointment for family portraits and high school senior photos.
