Wayland Patch 6/2/11: Wayland Police Arrests Needham Man for Breaking and Entering. Wayland Police have arrested 19-year-old Matthew Pruneau and charged him with breaking and entering daytime to commit a felony and larceny from a building. According to a Wayland Police press release, Pruneau, of 54 Horace St., in Needham, was arrested June 1 following an investigation into a residential breaking and entering on Lake Road that occurred on May 25. Det. Sgt. Jamie Berger said Pruneau admitted to the breaking and entering after police brought him in for questioning. Police are also questioning a second suspect, but no other arrests have yet been made. According to Berger, DVDs, an acoustic guitar and a flag bearing a marijuana symbol were stolen from the Lake Road residence last Wednesday. The crime was reported to police on Saturday. Berger said he didn’t know why there was a delay in reporting the theft.
