Wayland Patch 4/23/11: TD Bank Begins Work on New Boston Post Road Location. On Monday morning, the empty shell of Wayland’s former Finagle a Bagel restaurant still stood in its place on Boston Post Road. By Wednesday, every remnant of the restaurant was gone and an adult-size dirt pile – with adult-size machines to push it around – had taken its place.

It all disappeared quickly, but it didn’t go to the dump. TD Bank, which is leasing the land for a new location, is pursuing LEED silver certification for the branch being built there. That means that the materials from the former building will be largely recycled.
