Wayland Patch 4/2/11: Wayland Boards Appoint New Member, Discuss Combined Transfer Station. The Wayland Board of Public Works has a new member after Monday night’s joint discussion between the Board of Selectmen and the Board of Public Works. Both boards unanimously approved Mike Lowery to replace Eric Knapp who resigned from the Board of Public Works last month, citing increased business commitments and responsibilities. Lowery has been approved to fulfill a one-year term, and his position will be on the Town Election ballot next year.
