Wayland family seeks new home for banished dog

Metrowest Daily News 3/8/11: Wayland family seeks new home for banished dog.

The law finally caught up with the troublesome foxhound Friday when a Framingham District Court judge found Laska’s owner, Mark Frishman, in contempt for ignoring a previous court order upholding the town’s decision to banish the dog. Since November 2007, the town has had a running battle with Frishman over Laska, the subject of 20 complaints. Authorities said the dog ran unleashed several times and bit two people. According to the court’s ruling, Frishman must divulge the dog’s current location and pay the town’s legal fees.
