Bill McKibben gives it to us straight–Join us to watch a recorded interview with McKibben and discuss his book, Eaarth.  Our world is melting, drying, acidifying, flooding, and burning in ways that no human has ever seen. We've created a new planet, still recognizable but fundamentally different. We may as well call it Eaarth. Bill McKibben is an environmentalist and writer who tackles global warming and alternative energy, and advocates for more localized economies. In 2010 the Boston Globe called him "probably the nation's leading environmentalist". Since founded and leads 350.org. He grew up in Lexington, Mass, and now lives in Vermont. Preview the interview: with McKibben. Eaarth is available in all bookshops. This is a free presentation by Transition Town Wayland. Contact: Katrien Vander Straeten
