Save the date! Wayland’s own award winning filmmaker, Lisa Gossels, will offer a special showing of her latest film, “My So-Called Enemy”, at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Temple Shir Tikva on Route 20 in Wayland, MA. Lisa is the daughter of Temple Shir Tikva members, Nancy and Peter Gossels.

 

This film follows the lives of six teenage girls, two Palestinian Christians, two Palestinian Muslims and two Israeli Jews who came to the USA to participate in a women’s leadership program.This transformative experience of knowing their “enemies” as human beings both complicates and enriches their lives.The filmmaker follows their development for the next seven years.

 

We expect that the screening, which will be followed by an interfaith panel discussion, will attract many Jewish, Christian and Muslim friends from our neighboring communities. Do mark your calendars for this exciting happening!
