Saturday, February 26, Sudbury Valley Trustees’ 17th Annual Benefit, Sheraton Tara, Framingham, 6-11pm

Recognizing the importance of local agriculture to our history and our future, Sudbury Valley Trustees will be celebrating local farms at their 17th Annual Benefit.  From its earliest days, SVT has helped to conserve farmland. They are currently working with local farms in Acton, Carlisle, Framingham, Northborough, Sudbury, Upton and Wayland to continue to conserve and protect land, totaling over 600 acres, for agricultural use for years to come. SVT works with landowners, municipalities, and the state to project working farmland through leases, conservation easements, and agricultural preservation restrictions. Thriving farms benefit the health, economy and well-being of our communities. Through its ongoing work, SVT will continue to preserve the strategically significant and beautiful lands of our area. At the upcoming SVT Annual Benefit, local farmers will showcase the abundance and diversity of the area’s produce. The evening’s festivities will include cocktails & hors d’oeuvres, dining and dancing, and a silent auction with a wide variety of offerings. Area residents are invited to attend the benefit and support the land protection efforts of Sudbury Valley Trustees in our community.
