Wayland Patch 2/8/11: Finance Committee approves FY12 budget. Monday night the Finance Committee approved FY12 operating and capital budgets to submit to the Board of Selectmen. The approved operating budget of $70.9 million is identical to the draft budget FinCom approved last week before this week’s public comment session. The approved capital budget of $4.6 million is slightly less than last week’s draft budget.
