For the past several years, Pete bought Girl Scout cookies, and more than once he overpaid and would not accept the change. Because of that, he still has a credit for 4 boxes of cookies for this year’s cookie sale. For those of you who did not know him, Pete was a Wayland firefighter who lived in Natick. On November 1, 2010, he had a tragic and fatal accident. He left behind a wife and two children. Pete’s generosity has given him a way he can still help provide for his family. His 4 boxes of Girl Scout cookies (plus an additional 4 boxes) will be raffled off. All money raised will go to the Peter S. Regan Family Support Fund which is being held at the Middlesex Savings Bank in Wayland. Two winners will be chosen at random. Each winner will receive 4 boxes of cookies. Tickets are $5 each. The drawing will be held on February 5. Paper tickets are not being used for this raffle. Instead, your name will be entered into the drawing as many times as the number of tickets you buy.
