On Sunday, January 2, 2011, The Wayland Police Department responded to ten separate incidents of Vandalism that had occurred during the overnight hours from Saturday, January 1, 2011 into Sunday, January 2, 2011, possibly between 2am and 5am.  These incidents occurred in the Cochituate section of Wayland and resulted in thousands of dollars in damage.

Damage was sustained to residential homes, property, motor vehicles and to Saint Zepherin’s Church.  Damage included smashed windows, signs broken, motor vehicle lights broken and Christmas decorations destroyed.
