Man who fled to Seattle arraigned for Wayland Country Club thefts

Wayland Town Crier 12/20/10: Man who fled to Seattle arraigned for Wayland Country Club thefts. A shoplifting arrest in a Seattle grocery store led police there to link the 50-year-old suspect to a theft that occurred thousands of miles away and six years in the past. Mark Miller had been arrested in Wayland in 2004 after officers responding to an alarm at Wayland Country Club's pro shop pulled him over and found his car full of stolen golf clubs. Police had been investigating a series of burglaries at the country club and thought Miller was selling the goods over the Internet. Miller posted bail but then fled.
