Wayland Town Crier 11/24/10: Attend free screening of ‘Bilal’s Stand’ at Islamic Center of Boston. You are invited to a free screening of an award-winning Sundance film titled “Bilal’s Stand” on Sunday, Nov. 28 at 2 p.m. at the Islamic Center of Boston, 126 Boston Post Road, Wayland.

Created by a young new director and based on a true story, this movie promotes an important dialogue around social issues. An associated curriculum for youth encourages and supports these discussions. Go online for more information.

This movie was made by young people about their own experiences. This will be an opportunity for community leaders, educators and youth leaders to preview the movie and speak with the executive producer about social justice, interfaith issues and diversity.
