Wayland Town Crier 11/22/10: Wayland High School graduate honored. Jeff Tiberii, a member of Wayland High School’s Class of 2002, was recently honored by the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas. He received first and second place awards for his sports commentaries "Athletes & Mental Illness" and "Hype: When the Media Attacks." Tiberii also received a first place award for spot news for his piece "Piedmont Twister" and a first place award in sports reporting for his coverage of the Winston-Salem Dash baseball team’s new ballpark.
