Wayland Town Crier 11/16/10: Wayland residents join in event for Christopher's Haven. Wayland residents Shaun and Bonnie McConnon will join Victoria Reggie Kennedy, the wife of the late U.S. Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, at the Christopher’s Haven Butterfly Bash event on Saturday, Nov. 20. Christopher’s Haven, a leading Boston-based nonprofit, provides supportive homes for families whose children are receiving treatment for cancer at Mass. General Hospital for Children. The McConnons were recipients of the 2009 Kennis Nix Inspiration Award for their early support of Christopher’s Haven.
