Wayland Town Center suit is settled

Wayland Town Crier 10/13/10: Wayland Town Center suit is settled. A long and contentious stalemate between the Historic District Commission and developers of the Town Center project has ended with a compromise that will allow Twenty Wayland to move forward more quickly with traffic improvements. The commission voted unanimously last night to approve an agreement that settles a lawsuit brought by Twenty Wayland, and to issue a revised certificate of hardship, which will allow the developer to begin roadwork on the intersection of routes 20, 27 and 126 before Town Center construction begins.
