Wayland Town Crier 9/28/10: Local students named semifinalists in National Merit Scholarship. The following Wayland High School students were among the 16,000 named semifinalists in the 56th annual National Merit Scholarship Program: Valerie Eisenson, Basil Halperin, Daniel Hong, Jennifer Huber, Seth Lifland, Neeti Singhal and Melanie Wang. In addition, Erica Kouka, a student at Wayland High School, was named a semifinalist in the 47th annual National Achievement Scholarship Program.
