Despite almost visible sparks in the air at the Board of Selectmen meeting on Monday night, the Historic District Commission and Twenty Wayland, developers of the proposed Town Center project, which have long been at loggerheads, agreed to meet in early September to try to hammer out a compromise on their disagreements.
