Due to the library construction project, the Friends of the Library have not been able to collect books for their semi-annual book and bake sale during the last few months.  They are now eager to begin collecting books for their fall sale.  If you have books that you are willing to donate to the Friends, please drop them off in the lower level of the library any time the library is open.  If you have a very large number of books to drop off, please call the library (358-2311) before you drop them off so that we can arrange to receive them in the most efficient manner.  Proceeds from the book sales go to support many important programs at the library, including educational and enrichment programs and our museum passes.
