The next meeting of the Board of Selectmen will be held on Monday, June 21 in Town Building.

The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. with a joint session of the Board of Selectmen and the School Committee to interview three citizens who have expressed interest in appointment to the School Committee to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Jeff Dieffenbach.  Beth Butler, Heidi Pemberton and Nancy Shridhar have submitted letters of interest.

Following the joint session, selectmen will review a demonstration of the Town's new website currently under development.  Bill Letsky, vice-president of Virtual Town Hall, will present the site under construction.  The Town expects to migrate to the new website by the first week of July, once content is loaded and final adjustments are made to the features of the site.

Selectmen will interview a number of citizens who have volunteered to serve on Town boards and commissions.  Three citizens have applied to fill two vacancies on the Finance Committee – Thomas Greenaway, Stephen Barnard, and William Steinberg.  Six residents have expressed interest in serving on the Historic District Commission; there are three regular member and one alternate position available.  The four incumbents – Diana Warren, Chris Hagger, and Margery Baston (regular) and Alice Boelter (alternate) are seeking reappointment.  Kathie Steinberg and Kevin Crowley have also applied.  The Board will also consider applications of Maureen Cavanaugh as a member of the Community Preservation Committee, Ted Harding as a member of the Conservation Commission, and Shawn Fennelly as a member of the Wastewater Management District Commission.  A number of vacancies remain; a complete list is posted in the lobby of Town Building.

Later in the meeting, selectmen will consider the consent calendar, review correspondence, and discuss agenda items for future meetings.

The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Selectmen's Meeting Room.
