Wayland Town Crier 5/20/10: Survivors and friends join together for Weston-Wayland Relay for Life. Participants in the fourth annual Weston-Wayland Relay for Life took the rain in stride, while at the same time not breaking their own as they made their way around the Weston High School track. The American Cancer Society event took place over 12 hours from 6pm on Saturday, May 15 to 6am on Sunday, May 16. Beginning with a Cancer Survivors reception at 5pm and children’s activities from 4-6pm, the opening lap featured 20 cancer survivors. A large turnout of families and friends from both towns gathered to support the search for a cure.
