Wayland Town Crier 4/22/10: Candidates discuss priorities for new Board of Public Works. Candidates running for the new Board of Public Works addressed everything from town flooding to new water meters at last week’s League of Women Voters’ Candidates Night. The following candidates are running for uncontested seats on the Board of Public Works – Tom Abdella (one-year term), Michael Wegerbauer (three-year term) and Eric Knapp (three-year term), the latter of whom was not able to attend Candidates Night. The three candidates running for two open seats for a two-year term on the board are in a contested race – Jonathan Mishara, Shawn Fennelly and Chris Brown. Only Mishara was able to be present at Candidates Night last week.
