Wayland Town Crier 4/21/10: School Committee candidates with impressive backgrounds. Voters will have to choose between two candidates with impressive backgrounds to fill a vacant seat on the School Committee on May 11, as attorney Deborah Cohen has decided not to run for re-election. The local Town Election, with contested races for School Committee, Board of Selectmen and Board of Public Works (two-year term), will take place on the same day as the state election to fill the Senate seat left vacant by Scott Brown. For the two School Committee candidates, Shawn Kinney is the chief executive officer of his own company, Hyaluron, and Beth Butler has worked as a trial attorney and trial judge for the Massachusetts Superior Court.
