Sunday, May 23, Celebration of the Arts Concert Series, Goodnow Library, Sudbury, 3pm

The series, titled "A Celebration of the Arts," was organized by Ron Hurston of Wayland and largely underwritten by the Millenium Fund of the Wayland Public Library. It will consist of four concerts, all of which are free to the public.  Complete details are available at the Concert Series Website.

The fourth and final concert promises to be an exciting and memorable one on Sunday, May 23 at 3 p.m. in the Meeting Room of the Goodnow Public Library in Sudbury. It will be performed by classical pianist Donald Berman, one of the chief exponents of new works by living composers, overlooked music by 20th century masters, and recitals that link classical and modern repertoires. Berman’s reputation as definitive interpreter of the American  new music canon is unsurpassed.  Berman has performed to critical acclaim at major venues in the U.S., Europe and the Middle East. He teaches at Tufts University and directs the New England Conservatory Summer Piano Institute.  Based on past experience, the seating capacity of the Meeting Room at the Goodnow Library can quickly fill up. So plan to arrive a little early to insure being able to get in.
