A “Quilting Celebration and Tea Time” will occur on Saturday, May 8, 1-5pm at Community United Methodist Church in Wayland.   Give a ticket as a Mother’s Day gift, enjoy a mother-daughter or father-daughter afternoon, or invite a friend. Come and celebrate the creativity, artistry, workmanship and history of the handmade and machine-made quilted pieces attractively displayed – quilts and quilt tops (old and new), wall hangings, framed pieces, table accessories, pillows, etc.  This event runs throughout the afternoon – come when you can. Door prizes included. Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for children (ages 12 and under). Proceeds benefit mission outreach.
