Flood Update – Many people have been concerned about the controlled release of water by the MWRA in Saxonville. MWRA officials have advise Wayland Emergency Management that there is no planned release of additional water from the Framingham Reservoir until the water level of the Sudbury River at the Saxonville Dam drops to 10 feet or less. Currently the level at that location is 13.6 feet. It is anticipated that additional releases may not occur until next week. Any releases will be done in a manner that should not put the river back into a flood stage. The MWRA controls approximately 30% of the water flow in the Sudbury River as it comes into Wayland.

Thank you so much for posting this information…this is a huge relief for those of us down on Riverview Circle – and elsewhere, I am sure.
