A year after starring on the women’s tennis team at Boston College, Wayland’s Alina Sullivan has embarked on a promising professional career. The daughter of former Harvard tennis captain Paul Sullivan, Alina won in both singles and mixed doubles last month at the Chrysler Cup in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, earning $2,000, and is ranked 1,106th in the world in singles and 726th in doubles.
