Tired of the traditional summer day camps for your children?  Want your children to gain skills while having fun this summer? Wayland Recreation invites you try our exciting science, technology, drama, and arts summer programs. We offer “Having Fun with iLife (Apple software), Go Wild—Meet Live Animals, Chemical Magical & Microscopes, Robotics with Legos, Gizmo’s Robot Factory, Top Secret Science, Video Game Design, Rocket Science, Mystery Rock Workshop.

 

Arts include Wheelthrown Pottery, Multi Media with Art, Create a Tv Show, Make Your Own Film Workshop. For Drama we have Musical Theater “Not a High School Musical” and Cool Drama.

 

We also offer sports—baseball, touch football, archery, basketball, cheerleading, wrestling, lacrosse, track and field, field hockey, soccer, kayaking, golf, tennis. 

 

Something NEW! Especially for children entering grades 6 – 8, we have an exciting new program called Wayland Escapes. The children will be going on 4 field trips a week via school bus. The fifth day they will have activities on site at Wayland High School.

 

For traditional day camps we offer Summer Adventure for entering grades K – 5 and Beach Buddies for children ages 3 ½ – entering K.
