The next regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen will be held on Tuesday, January 19th in Town Building. The selectmen and Town Administrator will first meet with the Finance Committee to present recommended adjustments to the proposed FY 2011 general government department and board budgets. The FinComm budget guideline requires a $420,000 reduction to the current non-override budget that is based on existing FY2010 expenditures and contractual increases.

 

After convening the meeting and receiving public comment, the Board will review in some detail articles submitted by petitioners and boards for consideration for inclusion in the Annual Town Meeting Warrant. Later in the evening, selectmen will review correspondence, consider the consent calendar, and discuss projected meeting agenda items for the next several selectmens meetings.

 

The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Selectmen's Meeting Room.
