Operation ELF (Everybody Loves Families) is an all-volunteer charitable not-for-profit organization designed to bring hope, joy and the spirit of the holidays to children who are wards of the state or who find themselves in transitional living situations regardless of gender, race, religion or nationality.  Please sponsor a child’s holiday wish list. Our goal is to give 900 kids their wish list come true. Donors will know only the child’s first name, age and sizes. Wish list donations are $50 or less per child.   Bring your family to our annual Operation ELF event on Sunday, Dec. 13 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Trinitarian Congregational Church, 53 Cochituate Road, Wayland. Bring gently used children’s clothing, household items or holiday dinner basket items, as well as gently used suitcases, duffel bags or oversized backpacks for children in foster care.  At the event, collect wish list gifts to be given to children in need, and enjoy a silent auction and Chinese auction, activities for the children, sitting on Santa’s knee, music from our DJ, and more!  If you wish to sponsor a child or make a donation visit www.operationelf.org
