The annual Lights of Remembrance ceremony to illuminate the Dora Efthim Healing Garden will take place on Tuesday, November 24, 4-6pm. The ceremony is an opportunity for remembering loved ones who have passed away, to honor the life of a loved one, or to recognize a special anniversary. The ceremony includes a service of remembrance as the sun sets, the lighting of the garden, music and refreshments. The names of loved ones and special occasions will be printed in a Memory Keepsake Book and given to all who attend.
Proceeds support the mission of Wayside Hospice – to provide quality hospice care in the home, in assisted living and nursing homes, and at the Miriam Boyd Parlin Hospice Residence. One light may be illuminated for $35, two lights for $60, and three lights for $100. Acknowledgments will be sent as requested.
