Wayland Town Crier 7/23/09: Update from High School Building Committee. The MSBA and Wayland have agreed on a total square foot for new construction at 154,350 square feet. MSBA also indicated they will participate in renovation of the Field House. MSBA will not participate in funding a wastewater treatment plant, demolition of existing buildings, swing space (temporary space for students during construction), hazardous materials abatement, or a community cable TV station. Wayland now has a signed feasibility study agreement and was again informed that it is in the capital pipeline and should expect 40 percent reimbursement on the allowed scope of the project. There has been a change in the minimum reimbursement rate to 31 percent for communities not yet in the capital pipeline.
