A preview of Monday’s Board of Selectmen Meeting from Town Administrator Fred Turkington:
The Board of Selectmen will resume regular schedule of meetings on Monday (April 27) at 7pm.
Discussion will include follow-up on both logistics and articles from the Annual and Special Town Meetings held April 13, 15 and 16. Board members will review suggestions received from residents and officials regarding the new configuration in the renovated Field House, as well as discuss action items related to certain articles.
Other matters to be discussed include: a review of vacancies on Town boards and commissions; an update on proposed local aid in the House version of the FY10 state budget and on the municipal reform package proposed by the Governor; a status report of pending permit approvals for the Town Center project; update on the selection process for a director of public works; and topics for discussion at future Board of Selectmen meetings.
The agenda, correspondence list, consent calendar, and list of public records provided to the Board since the March 30th meeting will be posted on the Town’s website by 12 noon Monday.
