Wayland Girl Scout Troop 3166 has assembled a listing of volunteer opportunities to help everyone in town find an interesting opportunity to volunteer, get involved with their community and have fun. These opportunities are located in Wayland, the Metrowest area, and the greater Boston area. Some of them are one time events that you can help with and others require training and even a long-term commitment. All of them provide the opportunity to help people or an organization. Many also provide the opportunity to get experience in an area of career interest. Some even provide the opportunity for teens to do an internship. In preparing this book they made our best effort to provide you with accurate, up-to-date information. However, the needs of organizations change, and so you should contact any organization you are interested in to confirm that the volunteer opportunity still exists and to determine if there are any changes to the information we have provided.  We hope that this book will help you find an opportunity that you will enjoy.
