Rebuilding Together Boston is looking for volunteers on Saturday, April 25

Rebuilding Together Boston (www.rebuildingtogetherboston.org) is looking for volunteers on Saturday, April 25th to join a team from Wayland who will spend the day rebuilding the home of the Culbert family in Dorchester, and in doing so, enjoy the fun, camaraderie, and rewarding experience of helping someone in need.  We are looking for adults, as well as high school students and graduates, so please help spread the word!  (Of course, this also qualifies for community service hours).

Volunteers will join former Wayland resident, Tom Antonellis, who has organized these one day blitz building projects for several years.  No construction skills are required but are certainly welcome!  The scope of the project will include everything from replacing windows, doors, ceilings and appliances to landscaping, painting and small things like new doorbells and window shades.  The cost of materials is being underwritten by 3 generous donors, but more donations are needed.  We encourage participants to ask their friends and neighbors to help sponsor them in this important community service effort.

Please contact Linda Hanifin for more details, and to sign up.
