On January 6, 2009, the Wayland Water Department adopted a capital improvement surcharge of $118 per billing cycle for residential accounts and $59 per billing cycle for commercial accounts.   

The surcharge amount will be adjusted annually to reflect the principle and interest payments for capital improvements divided by the number of active water accounts.
