Sunday, April 5, Virtual Tour of Sudbury’s Historic Sites, Subury Town Hall, 2pm.

The next program of the Sudbury Historical Society at 2pm in Sudbury Town Hall has been compiled by Dr. Tony Howes and Terry Keeney, together with Historical Society curator Lee Swanson.  It is the result of months of research and filming around Sudbury and parts of Wayland.  "Our goal is to engender enthusiasm among the audience as we show people where history was made by some famous people (and some forgotten) local residents from the time when the Sudbury Plantation was formed in 1638 to the present," said Dr. Howes.  Each site is also accompanied by a map.  A few printed color tour guides will be available at the meeting, and may also be ordered.  The public is invited to come and enjoy learning about the rich history and treasures within Sudbury and Wayland.  Refreshments will be served.  For more information, call 978-443-3747 or email sudburyhist01776@verizon.net.
