For information or tickets call TCAN at 508-647-0097 or visit their web site at www.natickarts.org.

Fred’s program includes works by Bach, Chopin, Alberto Jonas, Bach/Moyer, and Mendelssohn, whose 200th birthday is February 3. A child prodigy, who at age 17 already had composed a great orchestral masterpiece, the "Midsummer Night’s Dream Overture," Felix Mendelssohn also wrote brilliantly for the piano, as you will hear. Fred’s grandfather, himself a musical prodigy, toured the United States at age 9, played for Teddy Roosevelt in the White House at age 10 and for Kaiser Wilhelm II in Germany at about 15. He also composed adaptations of works by Bach, one of which Fred will perform.
