Wednesday, February 11, The Nightingale, Wayland Library, 4pm.

Join us as the Commonwealth Ballet Company performs ballet along to a reading of Hans Christian Andersen’s tale, The Nightingale. The narrator will discuss how the story becomes a ballet. Dancers from this year’s ballet production of The Nightingale, at Regis College (Weston, MA) on March 14-15, will be in costume and will join in telling the story of a little bird who saves the life of the Emperor of China. They will also be available for questions after the performance. Appropriate for ages 5 and up. Children ages 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Location: Raytheon Room at the Wayland Public Library
